Original HP Ink cartridges #952 4-pack (black XL and 3 regular sized color cartridges)
I cannot be sure of the exact date, but within the last 6 months, I purchased the above product. The 'warranty ends date' on the box is DEC 2023. The warranty ends date on the black cartridge is 2020/04 and on all 3 of the color cartridges is 2020/06. When I needed to replace an empty cartridge today it got the message that it was an older cartridge that is not compatible with my printer but could possibly be used in other printers. I did not purchase this product from HP but a well known national 3rd party seller. In talking with that seller I was told they have no control over what is in a sealed package that they sell and I would need to contact HP. What are my options for getting this purchase replaced with product that will function?

I am aware that I cannot use the older generation cartridges in my specific printer. This does not solve the problem of inconsistent warranty end dates on the product and package. My problem is when I purchased the ink cartridges the packaging showed an expiration date that will work in my printer but the product inside the box shows an expiration date that will not work in my printer. This is misleading information for me as the consumer and I believe I'm entitle to a refund of my purchase price or replacement with a product that will work.
