8710 - took hp cartridge out put in new one hp in now says older generation crap - same cartridge - how do i solve - if i have to buy another printer/cartridge it won't be hp

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer ink cartridges.

 

Kindly refer to the steps from this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.

 

Also, update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
