This is a general question regarding an HP Deskjet 460 mobile printer.  I have some HP98 ink carts that I had for my Officejet 150 mobile printer which recently went South.  I still have HP98 ink carts...will they work in my HP Deskjet 460 mobile printer?

Thanks for any input. dondd

No, the 460 will reject HP 98 ink cartridges, it's incompatible.

Thanks for your prompt reply Valsimot.  As you're rated an Expert, I have another question.  I'm trying to resurrect my Officejet 150 mobile printer (it's faster than the 460, and it's an all-in-one. I'm starting with cleaning the wheels, etc., and I discover that on the far right there's a large blob of black ink in what a appears to be the reservoir for waste ink...like when you're cleaning the cartridges and the printer is removing some ink to clear the print heads.  Is there a way I can clean that up? It looks like it's ready to overflow.  Appreciate your response. dondd

That is a spittoon, it's user replaceable, but you can clean it as well and put it back. It's removed from the bottom side of the printer using flat head screwdriver.
