I have been trying to fix my hp printer for the past month after it updated to 1910a firmware through the automatic cloud update, to no avail. Even the original (but with expired warranty) hp cartridges are no longer working. The third party ink cartridges that used to work, suddenly don't, and even if at first the printer accepts them, it suddenly stops reading them.
I have bought an Epson tank printer just so i can continue working, but I want to fix my printer nonetheless, I have invested a lot in it to give up that fast. Anyone has any idea how to save it? I tried installing the 1828A but it is not installing since my version is newer, and no old downgrade methods worked out.
Dear HP, you want us to buy original ink? Consider lowering your extremely high prices! For the price of 1 original ink cartridge we can get 4 3rd party ink!

Hi,
What EXACT error is shown on your printer screen?
When Dynamic Security applies, you should be able to downgrade the firmware from hp.com as described below:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05308850/
You may download the firmware utility below:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ojp8710/OJP8610_1828A.exe
Please share a picture of both the update utility above behavior and your printer's screen.

I have tried using the 1828A firmware utility, but it does not work, it says not applicable.
As for the error message, it says one or more of your cartridges appear to be damaged. I used 5 different cartridges, sometimes it recognizes them, then it suddenly doesn't. Not even using genuine ones is working, and it all happened after the automatic update.
Any firmware higher than 1910 is gonna be released soon to solve this problem?
