I cant get the 8-bin Mailbox to work on my HP LaserJet M9040 MFP with windows 10. With my old pc running win 7 I had no issiues and the mailbox sorted perfectly my prints and the ones launched from another pc to the appropriate bins.
With the driver upd-pcl6-x64-7.0.0.24832 I can finally see the output option to select the bin in the printing preferences.
The problem is that it prints always to the default output bin and not to the selected one.
Any suggestion on how to solve the issiue?
Thank you in advance
Best regards

On some setups, not sure about the 9040, have not touched one in over 5 years, there a multiple modes that you can select for the output bin, one of which is simply treating it as a giant stacker. If you choose the wrong configuration then you will not be able to use "mailbox" mode, which it sounds like you want to do. What happens if change the defaults rather than the preferences on the driver? Does it make a difference? Can you post a screenshot of the device settings tab showing the sorter?
