Macbook Pro Big Sur

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro updated with Big Sur and wireless printer HP Color Laserjet Pro CP 1025nw.  When printing photos it looks like the printer prints a kind of shifted negative over the photo so I have one print that looks okay but over this photo there is a kind or negative like a shadow over the image I print.   With text documents there is no problem.  I assumed that this was due to the driver so I download  the driver for this printer being the 5.1.dmg.  However when installing the driver the dialog box on the Mac says  : "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update".

Anyone a suggestion how to solve the problem with the installation of the driver on Mac and-or how to solve the problem with printing photo's?  Thank you.

@PatrickPi, Welcome to HP Support Community!

First, uninstall any previously installed drivers on the computer. Refer to the document HP Printers - Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac) for help.

Now, download and install the latest software from here-  https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/ASU/HP_Easy_St...

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi TEJ1602,

I tried the links you have send me but my printer is not in the list.  I have filled in the type  but they do not know this type.  The first method (HP Uninstall) I already tried and re-installed but that is not working.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks.

I really have problems with this site.  I keep on getting the message that I use INVALID HTML in the message and they are supposed to be highlighted but I do not see any highlights so I am fighting now to get my reply posted
