HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi.

I can't download the new HP printer drivers for LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw in Win11 S Mode.   It wants me to go to MS app store.

How do I bypass this without compromising my software security?

Thx!

Hi,

Windows 10 or 11 in S Mode only allow app store applications installation and usage, not native applications or drivers.

To install the HP full Feature Software you must switch out of S Mode, only then you may install any other HP Software than the HP Smart app.

Regards,

Shlomi

Hi, Shlomi.

Thanks for your response.

am fully aware of the prohibited downloads, however, doesn't getting out of S mode compromise my computer security, especially since it's permanent?  I've been trying to find a viable alternative, hence, my post.
