Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had this printer (officejet pro 8000 a809) running on Windows 10, but I had to reload my total system and now I am getting errors. The error is ( Function address 0x65c6fda caused a protection fault. Exception code 0xc0000005). I reinstalled the drivers, but that didn't help. I know HP doesn't show this printer in Windows 10, but I have been using it this was for a few years. Does any one else have it connected using Windows 10?

The_Fossette, I looked at one of your other replies and in that one you deleted the old driver before you downloaded the new one. I deleted the old one and then sent all the temp files to the recycle bin, and then emptied the recycle bin. After I downloaded the driver again, and now my Officejet Pro 8000 a809 works fine. You had the correct idea, but each time I guess it was loading the old driver. Thanks for all your help.

The_Fossette, I did what you stated to do, and when I first finished, it asked me to print a test page and it worked great! Then I went to comtrol panel and got to my Officejet Pro 8000 a809 printer and first right clicked Printing Preferences and got "Function address 0xb1ef6fda caused a protection fault (exception code 0x0000005)."

I then right clicked Pinting Properties and got " Function address 0xb22c6fda caused a protection fault (exception code

0x0000005)" It did open up and I could try and print a test page, but it gave me "Test page failed to Print"

As I stated on my original question, this was working with Windows 10, but I had to reload my system, which loaded Windows 7 and I then went out to Microsoft and downloaded and installed Windows 10.

For your information I am running on a HP computer, Model: p6310f, Product #: AY018AA#ABA, and Serial: MXX00504T2.

Any additional help would be appreciated. Thank you.
