HP Photosmart eStation C510
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I downloaded the HP Smart App and got as far as opening Printers and Scanners and adding the printer.  I was told to look for the following: Choose [Photosmart eStn C510 series [DDC909]], then select "Add"

but when i try to add it nothing shows up.

I can't find any drivers for this printer on HP's websites.

@sotano, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to print from your Mac. This is because of the printer driver. Due to its age, there are no drivers available for this printer to work on macOS 10.12 or later on the HP Support site.

It is also not supported by macOS.

 

This printer is not AirPrint compatible too.

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

 

P.S: You may follow the steps mentioned in this thread by a Community Expert.
