Cannot set up my deskjet 2300 because it will not go into setup mode. It never turns on the Wi-Fi as HP smart so that I can connect to it.

Hi,

Is it an HP Deskjet 2300? what is its exact Product number?

Please clarify above, but I could not see any Deskjet 2300 model supporting any wireless connectivity.

 

Assuming I'm correct, this is a USB only printer and have no wireless capabilities, therefore a wireless connection cannot be done with the printer, it only support a direct USB connection to a computer, but please clarify its product number to ensure we indeed refer to the same printer model.

Printer 2374. The instructions said to use HP smart but it does not have an option for a USB cable install
