My printer has stopped printing anything. I have tried printing pdf and Word files, and am instead directed to create a prn save file, which then cannot be opened on my computer at all after saving. I have tried troubleshooting the printer, connecting with an ethernet cable rather than using a wireless connection, reinstalling printer drivers, and restarting my computer.
I have also tried to find a print dialog area to uncheck the box for "print to file" and can find no such option.
Any other ideas? I'm at a loss and extremely frustrated at this point.

Hi,
It should not be an LPT port.
Swipe down the top gray dashboard on the printer screen and click the WiFi icon, then locate the printer's IP address.
Within the Ports tab click Create a New port and create a new Standard TCP/IP Port.
Follow the wizard and type the printer's IP Address, then complete the wizard and try printing.
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.

Hi.
Click the Start button and then the gear icon and select Devices, then Printers & Scanners.
Click your printer queue once and select Manage, then click on Printer Properties.
Open the Ports tab and change the port to the correct one, either select the WSD Port or the Standard TCP/IP port from the list.
Press Apply and then print a test page within the General tab and check if that print.
If there are several possible ports, check it one by one and press Apply, see which port prints the test page.
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
