I recently moved and got a new wifi network. I have connected my printer to my new network, it's the same network my computer is on. But when I try to print something from my computer, it doesn't detect my printer. I have since reset my printer settings on my computer and when I go to reinstall, it still does not detect my printer. I have printed a Network Configuration report and it confirms that my printer is connected to wireless and ready to use. When I go through HP Smart, it detects my printer as offline, even though the touch-screen is alight and ready to use with the wireless indicator on. I have updated my HP Smart software. I have reset both my computer and my printer.
I am at a loss as to how to get my computer to detect my printer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
- What is the distance between the router and the printer?
- Are the printer and Mac connected to the same network?
This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK
In addition, perform a ping test to check the connectivity:
- Click Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
- type ping "IP address" and press enter
Wait until 10 pings have been performed and then press ctrl c on the keyboard and hit return.
The results will appear. Share the ping test results.
The wireless status menu on your Mac should also give us quite a lot of information that would help us identify the issue. You can press and hold option-click the Wi-Fi icon and then use shift-command-5 to take the screenshot. Press the space bar when the icon turns into a camera. Share the ping test results and the screenshot with us.
Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'. Bonjour locates devices such as printers, and other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello Echo_Lake,
Thank you for your thorough response. I have been scammed in the past so I'm hesitant to share full screenshots. To answer your questions specifically:
1. There are dual routers both 5 GHz, both have WPA3 Personal security, have different passwords from one another.
2. The distance from the printer to the router is about 10'. The distance from my computer to the printer is about the same.
3. Yes, the printer and Mac are connected on the same network.
When I entered the ping IP address in my terminal, there were only 2 pings that followed. I did one for both internet networks and from what I can tell, they are identical to each other. When I did the "options" command while clicking the wifi icon, it looks like each network has two separate IP addresses, two separate router ID's, two separate BSSID's, but identify Channels (5 GHz), RSSI, Noise, Tx Rate, PHY Mode, MCS Idex, and NSS.
The internet is under my landlord's account so there is some limitation about what information I can obtain from my service provider.
Hope this is enough information to resolve this issue!
Looking forward to your reply,

Thank you for posting back.
The Bonjour packets client is necessary to isolate the connectivity issue with the Mac printing system, the device periodically broadcasts Bonjour Discovery protocol packets to directly-connected IP subnet(s), advertising its existence and the services that it provides, for example; HTTP or HTTPS. (Use the Security > TCP/UDP Services page to enable or disable the device services.)
I would suggest please check with your landlord if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
