Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

My computer (Mac) says my HP ENVY 7155 is "Out of paper" but it's not. I can make copies with the printer and it's connected just fine to the router. So on my computer I've removed the printer and re-added it and it seems fine (Idle) but then I see it says it's "Out of paper" and of course it is not. When I try to print, it says "The printer is in use." Not sure what else to do since this doesn't seem to be a paper roller cleaning issue if I can otherwise make it print copies.

HP Recommended

never mind--I shut down the printer and restarted it. That solved the misread
