Hi tany11

As of the latest updates, the HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer does not have a specific driver available for the MacBook Air with the M3 chip from 2024. However, you can try the following solutions:

Use HP Smart App

  1. Download and Install HP Smart from the Mac App Store:
    • Open the App Store on your MacBook Air.
    • Search for "HP Smart" and download the application.
    • Follow the instructions to add your HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer.

Use Built-in Drivers

  1. Use Built-in MacOS Drivers:
    • macOS often has generic drivers for many printer models.
    • Connect your HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer to your MacBook Air.
    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Click the + icon to add a printer and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • If macOS automatically recognizes the printer, it will install the appropriate drivers.

Download Universal Print Driver

  1. Download Universal Print Driver:
    • Visit HP's official website and search for "Universal Print Driver."
    • Download the Universal Print Driver for Mac.
    • Install the driver and add your printer through System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.

If these methods do not work or if you need further assistance, please consider contacting HP support for more direct help regarding driver compatibility and installation.

I hope the above is helpful
