https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/Unable-to-install-driver/td-p/7500236

please provide link for 6.9.0 universal print driver.

i do not want 7.0.0 or 7.0.1 (current) driver. thank you.

reason is the following:

it is not suitable to manually fix large amount of printers.

For the most part, with business environments the assumption is that IT people will be using available tools to ensure the security of their printing environment. Product such as HP Security Manager completely automate the process of requesting and install certs on HP printers.

I feel sorry in a way for manufacturers, if they do not fix security holes they get lambasted, if the do fix them, people complain that things are more difficult to work with. Cannot please 100% of people 100% of the time.

I can provide a dropbox link to 6.9 if you are unable to find it anywhere else.

our printers are on a separated network with no access to anything so giving them a new certificate is pretty pointless.

hp should rather introduce a mechanism to suppress this warning. i am sure numerous other companies are having the same problem...

a dropbox link to 6.9.0 driver is better than nothing but i'd rather see some official link from hp sources.

thank you for providing.
