Where do I get the downgrade firmware 20200612? I got a 404 error when trying to get to the download.

Which printer? And where did you get the link.  Depending on the printer, firmware 2 years old has likely been replaced and if you found a link online it is likely no longer active.

Which printer? 281 LaserJet

And where did you get the link? Here at HP by following the link provided when looking for 20200612 - this site threw a 404 Error.

In looking at the current driver (updates turned on in the printer), it looks like it had a date code of 10/10/2022 and screwed up my printer. Now it is in a 79 Error loop I can't get out of. Printer is unusable.

I'd like to roll back to an earlier firmware version.

The solutions found were to power-cycle (no joy), flush pending print jobs suspecting a corrupted PDF job (no joy) and then roll back to a known "good" firmware release like 20200612 (no joy since I can't find a roll-back download and a method to acquire and install it).

Where and how can I roll back the firmware?
