Hi all.

I have a new mac with Ventura OS and my HP Deskjet 1015 all in one printer doesn't communicate with it. I've downloaded the latest driver only to be stumbled by a page on installing which after asking if it's for personal or work etc, has a box below to enter a 4 digit code. I can't continue the final installation without this code, which is why I guess the printer doesn't communicate fully, so fails to print.  Anyone know the code required??

Any tips would be a great help.

Thanks

Andy

@AndyDocs

Welcome to the HP support community.

Which code are you looking for?

Could you send me a picture of the box which is asking for code?

There is a box requesting a code as you can see on the screenshot. I can't get past this page to complete the driver/software update.

Hi @AndyDocs

Probably this is asking for a postal code.

No it's a 4 digit code with only letters accepted.
