I have upgraded my operating system to Max OS 11.1 Big Sur and it appears there are no print drivers for my HP Photosmart C6180 printer so it is now completely useless.

I have tried every solution I could find such as HP Smart, Gutenprint, and AirPrint; all to no avail.

Shall I wait until a driver becomes available or do I need to throw it in the landfill?

Hi Shlomi,

Thank you for the article. Alas I have already availed myself of this article and my printer, an HP C6180, is NOT one of those that is listed as a Supported Printer (and thus the reason for my seeking assistance).

The article states, "If your printer model is not in this list, this knowledge base is not intended for your printer, please consult HP Support for your printer model, you may also check at 123.hp.com"

I also checked 123.hp.com AND Gutenprint, to no avail.

I cannot imagine that my perfectly good printer is destined for the landfill...please tell me this is not so; otherwise, what a colossal waste of resources!!

Thank you that did the trick! For some reason when searching previously for the driver I was unable to locate my model....thanks for encouraging me to look again 😉
