Hi. Greetings.
My problem is specifically with the 8134e and Windows 10.
I've been trying for weeks to get it working, but no matter what I do, I can't.
I'll explain. At first, the printer didn't seem to give any errors. You send a job, it appears in the queue for a few seconds without giving an error, but it doesn't print.
Printing reports from the printer itself works correctly, and HP Scan works 100%.
If I uninstall all the software and try to install from scratch (USB), Windows recognizes it, but the same thing happens.
I try installing the printer on a laptop with Windows 11 and it works fine. That laptop didn't have the network enabled during the installation.
As a test, I disconnect the network on the Windows 10 machine (delete software, remove drivers with printui, and restart) and install HP Easy Start; printing test works fine. GREAT.
I connect the network... everything still fine.
BUT AFTER A FEW HOURS, THE SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN. It doesn’t print, everything the same, goes to the queue,... no error.
The only thing I can do is the whole uninstalling and deleting process…
Buenas.
BIEN.

You can print reports from the control panel and and a network report states that the printer is online and HP Scan works.
You need to first clear stuck printer jobs
---then---
Run the HP Diagnose & Fix Tool
The built-in tool in the management software can automatically repair driver and port communication blocks:[ref_1]
- Open the HP Smart app (or HP app) on your computer.
- Select your 8135e printer.
- Go to Diagnose & Fix (or Printer Settings → Advanced Settings) and run the utility, following any on-screen prompts.[ref_1, ref_2]
Make sure the correct paper is used. If you select A4 but are using letter the job will go into the queue. Same for different photo sizes. The job will never print unless you put the correct paper in, go to the queue and restart the job. I assume you have the correct paper.
Verify the Correct HP Driver
Sometimes Windows defaults to a generic WSD or IPP driver that allows basic scanning or web tools but fails standard document printing:[ref_1]
- Go to Device Manager or Printer Properties → Advanced tab on your computer.
- Ensure the installed driver is the official HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e driver rather than a generic Microsoft IPP Class Driver.
- If unsure, completely remove the printer from your system, download and install the latest full-feature software package or drivers directly from the HP Support Page, and re-add the printer.[ref_1, ref_2, ref_3]
Item 2 above is important. Do not use IPP driver, use this full feature driver
After installing it may be named with a 2 or a 3 if the old driver was not uninstalled. Just be sure to use the name provided by the full feature driver.

Thank you so much for your time.
My procedure so far to get it working (even if just for a few hours) is to use, mind you without a network connection, the HP Easy Start for that model and during the installation connect the printer via USB.
So you're telling me not to use that HP Easy Start???

Your 8135e can use both the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz band.
Easy Start is a tool to create a network connection. Please ensure that the router names (SSID) of each band are different. Easy Start may setup the 5ghz band for you to use the but the printer may be given the IP address of the 2.4ghz band will will not work for your PC to print to. Printing use Wi-Fi direct bypasses this problem but if a desktop is hardwired then it cannot use Wi-Fi direct.
