HP 5740
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Using Mac OS X 10.7.5 but I couldn't get that option in the box abovemarked "Operating System."

Printer has quit scanning. I've already followed the instructions detailed elsewhere for reloading the software; the printer worked for a while after that but has quit again.

Now what? Do I keep reloading the software every time this happens?

OK, that took a while but it finally worked. For reasons unknown to me, the process stopped in the middle, but it resumed, and I just succeeded in scanning something for the first time in ten days! Thanks.
