To perform a factory reset on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw, follow these steps:
Turn Off the Printer:
- Ensure your printer is powered off before beginning the reset process.
Access Service Menu:
- Press and hold the "Back" button while you power on the printer.
- Continue holding until "Permanent Storage Init" appears on the screen.
Initiate Reset:
- Release the "Back" button.
- The printer will automatically start the reset process, which may take a few minutes to complete.
Completion:
- Once the reset is finished, the printer will reboot.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete initial setup like language and region settings.
