I've tried downgrading to 2020061 but the rollers still don't work. I tried to do 202204414 as well. It seems like the latest firmware update has bricked the rollers. I've got like 10 of these printers, so I'm glad it only got installed on one. I hope they fix this soon. This is an antitrust lawsuit waiting to happen.

Everyone is having same problem of bricking the upper roller of the printer after the (resend update error fix update). HP should response quick and fix it asap. My printer cant be used for more than 2 weeks and it is getting serious. HP better fix it soon.

Well, I may of finally reached an impasse!  After loading the "fix" several times and the to roller never working, I decided to just do a complete reset from my printer.  I assumed it would be like retuning a phone to factory settings...  Now it is stuck in a perpetual cycle of "error 49, turn off and restart your printer".  Restarting just sets it back into this continuous cycle.  It tries to load something and ends with the same 49 code error.  I've been without our business computer for at least two weeks now.  We must have a printer.  HP seems totally uninterested in helping.  I set up a case with HP.  They never answered anything, just sent an email stating my case had been closed.  HP has ruined a perfectly good printer and appears to have no intention of addressing or acknowledge the problem.  I know that I nor my business mean anything at all to them.  I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy a new printer.  We do not have funds for this, but truly have no choice.  I will never buy another HP product as long as I live.  And I will tell as many people as possible about this horrible service!

Hp pulled them out, that firmware will fix the "resend update" but will brick the upper roller causing paper jamming.

I have this resend upgrade error on my Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw, which is located in Australia. I followed the prompt to install the automatic firmware upgrade when it appeared and now cannot do anything on my printer. I tried reinstalling firmware over WiFi and USB but nothing worked. Please help - the printer was working perfectly before the upgrade, with new (expensive) genuine HP ink cartridges, and is important for my home office.
