I appreciate your position, but also appreciate that my printer is already a brick. I mean.. I can browse to it and look at the lovely stats of how many pages it's scanned or printed, and how much toner it has.. but that's all

Where is the fix? This is ridiculous. We have an office with just about one of these on each users desk. We need an update. In addition, HP will be removed from our offices and changed to a better-supported product.
WHY is NO HP REP COMMENTING ON THESE THREADS?

@StreekyD1 thanks man. they don't appear to take phone contact here (in New Zealand).. I've tried repeatedly. it's actually turned into a bit of a clown show for support here. they require a whatsapp call instead, and then whatsapp says it's not a valid number. so I did raise a ticket with their support portal. zero response at all, and it's been weeks.

It would be nice for HP to actually do something considering they are the ones who broke our printers with faulty firmware. At my company we've had to replace 10 of these printers because the firmware update bricked them. I was holding out replacing them hoping HP would release a fix or even just a release something explaining what happened and why, but I've started buying Brother laser printers to replace them. Unless they get their act together, this company will never buy an HP printer again.
