Your printer software is here:

HP DeskJet 1110 series Full Feature Software and Drivers

Reminder:  If using a USB cable to connect the printer, disconnect the cable before installing the printer software.  Connect the cable only when instructed to do so during the last part of the printer software installation procedure.

If you have already tried to reinstall the Full Feature Software and the program just won't install

OR

If it appears the software does install and then it does not work as expected,

Try / Consider the following procedure to clear the print setup and reinstall the software.

                   +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Corrupt OS components can prevent installation of Full Feature Software.

This is a multi-part process to clear out the existing bits of software, clear the pathway to allow the printer software installation to work and to fix any possibly registry weirdness.

The following are examples of the same procedure; the only difference is the presentation.  Take your pick.

Use a shortened (unillustrated) version of the procedure as follows:

The Deskjet 1112 is a simple device - the USB cable is the only means of connecting the printer to your computer.

Specifications > Connectivity

Unfortunately, there are limited options to fix the connection.

The document provides an explanation of the setup steps and an FAQ that includes the few available "what if" solutions for USB connection.

According to the information I can find, the series is about three years old (introduced Summer 2015).

  1. If the printer is still under the original hardware warranty (one year),
  2. After you have completed the relevant solutions in the printer's  Troubleshooting categories,
  3. Contact HP Support.

OR

  1. If the printer is out-of-warranty (more than one year old),
  2. After you have completed the relevant solutions in the printer's  Troubleshooting categories,
  3. If you cannot get the computer to at least detect the presence of the printer,
  4. Consider the printer is in need of service or more likely replacement (this is a low-end $30 USD device),
  5. Recycle the printer according to the rules / laws of your region,
  6. Replace the printer with a machine that meets your needs and your budget.
