I did a clean install of macOS Sonoma 2 days ago and now I'm unable to install the latest drivers from the Easy Start application as the app fails to detect the necessary software required to unlock the printer's functionalities.
It appears the drivers for macOS 14 are not yet available, hence the error message claiming Easy Start is "unable to automatically detect drivers for your product". Until a driver finally pops out a temporary solution is to use either the Secure AirPrint function or the HP Smart application from the App Store.

Here a few steps to do since Easy Start is temporarily unable to find a suitable printer driver for macOS 14.0.
1. Install macOS 13.0 from scratch.
2. Download and install the required printer software using Easy Start.
3. Update your OS to macOS 14.0.
Done!

It's a temporary solution until a software update for macOS 14.0 finally pops out.
Explanation is HP hasn't released yet a driver for HP 3700 and 3830 printers suitable for use with Apple's new operating system, that's why Easy Start is temporarily unable to automatically detect available software options for those products.

Not correct. HP Utility can't find the printer and can't connect to it using macOS 14/Sonoma. In my situation HP Utility was installed and working fine on macOS 13 and after upgrade to macOS 14 it has the issue of not connecting. Printing works fine but scanning of the printer to the mac doesn't anymore.

It's very frustrating to see that HP marked this question as "solved," when it clearly has not been solved! I just updated to Sanoma last week and cannot scan - no matter what I do. HP Smart says the function is not available for the OfficeJet 8710 but it was working perfectly fine before the Sanoma update.
