HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 color MFP M775

Hello,

Before upgrading the firmware, the printer was working fine.  After the upgrade, I lost network connectivity to the printer.  I cannot ping it or remote into it.  I acquired the latest firmware upgrade here:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-enterprise-700-color-mfp-m775-series/51...

Version: 4.10.0.1

Version before the upgrade: 3.9.2

I upgraded the firmware remotely and it took a while but I didn't do anything until it was done.  After that the printer must have rebooted because I lost network connectivity.  At the printer I turned it off and on a few times, waited a few minutes in-between hard reboots but no luck, still no network connectivity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Does FutureSmart have anything to do with it?  It was on FutureSmart 2 but looks like this upgrade calls for FutureSmart 3 or 4.  Should I have upgraded to 3.9.6 instead?  I figured the latest and greatest would be best.

Thank you in advance

I am not sure why but the printer was just unresponsive with this 4.10 upgrade.  A factory default reset needed to be done and then redo all configurations to make this printer work again.

Can anyone assist with this?  Any ideas?

Dou you have an led blinking on your printer network port when the LAN cable is plugged in?

If you print network configuration page does it show any network settings?

You can always download firmware version 3.9.6 to a USB drive and downgrade the firmware to that version if you suspect it could be a firmware issue. You have a USB port neat front panel to plug your USB drive and you can proceed with a downgrade from the printers maintenance menu.
