Hi! Got this printer recently. Everything worked normally during installation, installed driver on one wireless laptop, and one desktop-PC with wired network. Printer worked with both PCs, and iPhone XR. A few days later the printer wouldn`t come online, and didn`t print from neither laptop, nor desktop PC. Could still print from the iPhone XR. The desktop PC is rihgt beside the printer, and when I send a document to the printer I can hear a click in the printer, and about 30 seconds later I hear a new click. The document disappeares from the Windows printing queue.

 

After some searching I found a few things that I have tried:

 

Add SNMPLegacy and DisableRpcTcp dword = 1 into registry

Add new TCP-printerport instead of WSD-port

Tried to change settings in the Windows firewall that had the printers name in it.

 

Also tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor software, but not sure I found anything helpful there.

 

Some say that the SNMP-settings in the printer property panel can have something to do with this, but when I press the "Settings" button in the port property page i get an error-message, saying "Not available", or similar.

If your both computers ( laptop and PC) are running Win 10 try to restart print spooler in win 10 to see will that help.

Thanks! Just tried to restart spooler from services.msc. I heard a small click from the print when I pressed "ok", so there is communication going on. But nothing else. Now the document remained in the print queue.

When I print something the led in the on/off switch flashes, and a document (some cryptic name.tmp) is written to the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS folder. Still the little click when the document is submitted, and  a cleck about 30s later. Tried flashing new firmware (date 20 June 20), but everything the same. Also reinstalled the software (full package), but no change. Grr... this printer soon goes back to the store.

I notice that the printer now prints from the mentioned laptop, and I also installed the driver on another Win10 PC that also works with the printer. This PC is the same as the one that doesn`t work, a Lenovo Tiny M93P. I think the Windows version is the same: 19042.804
