Sorry! i have not.
One HP support wrote me, they only fix software, but never roll back in this case.
I wrote here many times and suddenly saw the new software ))) about 2 month after
Before they all give me their secret instructions )))))

Can any of you help me? I'm having the same problem as everyone else in this thread with my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw. Screen is frozen on HP logo after installing the latest firmware.
Pressing the red X and right arrow during startup do nothing. Holding down the bottom left corner brings up the "Permanent storage init." message, which never changes after hours. I can access the printer via IP address and can print a single page, after which the printer must be restarted to continue printing an additional single page. This is AWFUL!
Please provide me the old firmware, as well as any other potential solution.

I already have tried the latest one. That's the firmware that broke my printer.
"HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176-M177 Series Firmware Update 20200531 35.3 MB Aug 20, 2020"
Is the only firmware file I have access to and it's the one that broke my printer. Yours shows a July date, but when I click the link only the August date is shown. However, the actual file name of 20200531 is the same in both cases.

Oh, I figured it out. The July is the Windows release and the August is the MacOS release. Same firmware, though.
I did try from a Windows machine, so would have been that July dated file. I'll try it again, though. Nothing to loose, at this point.
HP repelled to me separately and said to just replace my printer. Not a great solution. They are expensive and it worked fine before the firmware update, plus I have lots of toner and supplies bought already for this one.
