Hello, HP Community!
We recently acquired an HP OfficeJet Pro 6230 ePrinter as a quick printing solution for a second Finance Office at the school. I've been trying for several days now to get this printer to register with Instant Ink but have hit a brick wall.
At the start of the process, it says that the printer is indeed eligible for Instant Ink and allowed me to continue through the rest of it, choosing and plan and setting the delivery address etc. However when it got to the further stages where it asks me to choose my printer (which I've already enrolled to this account with HP Smart), it is greyed out and says that this printer isn't eligible.
I've also tried to do this via HP Smart, but when I do that, it at first just span round in circles after agreeing to the sharing of data and then went back to the main page. Now the Instant Ink button just takes me to a supply ordering page.
I'm holding out hope that it is eligible, otherwise it will be quite expensive to supply this printer with the volume of printing they do!
Thanks,
Scalby School IT Dept.
