Printer prints pages in reverse order

This problem has just hit me with MacOs 10.14 and Hp8615 printer. It has worked fine ever since I got the Mac. Updated `Hp driver the other day to 4.4.0 and ever since then it is printing pages in reverse order.

After I did the upgrade it did tell me my printer was using an AirPrint driver and it would be better to use the HP one. Stupidly I followed the recommendation and it has been faulty ever since.

Please help and quickly.

Changing the paper handling settings might resolve the issue.

Let's try these steps:

Step 1: Open a document to print

Step 2: Go to File >Print

Step 3: Select 'Show Details' menu.

            

Step 4: In the presets window, select the dropdown menu below 'Orientation'.

            

Step 4: Select 'Paper Handling' from the drop down.

            

In the 'Page Order' drop-down menu, you can either choose automatic, normal or reverse order.

Step 5: Choose normal. Click on print.

Thanks for getting back to me. I will try what you recommend when I have chance. I have dropped back to the AirPrint driver in the meantime because of some documents I needed to get printed.

My new printer - HP OfficeJet Pro 8120 series - only prints documents in order, meaning I have to manually re-sort every single document since it starts with page one that ends up on the bottom. This is a huge pain for large documents. All of the online instructions state that you can manually change the print order in the preferences menu for each individual document, but that does NOT come up as an option when I try to change it. Also, my previous HP printer allowed me to set all documents to print in reverse order as my primary setting but I can't find a way to do that either on this printer.
