Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Why won't HP Smart find and add my HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer series - A909? It is properly connected USB and wirelessly. It's driver is added to windows and it can print a test page. But it will not add so I can scan and use the features from printer to computer or from computer.

HP Recommended

OJ Pro 8500 is a too old printer model and it is not supported in HP Smart.
