Can I have some help with this issue too please?  It appears your latest updater just doesn't actually work via IP, Bonjour or USB for the CM750A.  When the web services was reporting that the product was up to date I believed it, but now things have stopped working I see that firmware CKP1CN1829AR was posted about on forums some time in 2018.

Other vendors provide access to previous firmware releases so that you're able to at least try an interim firmware hop.  Is it possible to obtain a firmware release from some time between CKP1CN1829AR (2018?) and 2011A (late 2020)?

By all accounts it looks like the reset procedure doesn't seem to resolve the problem.

Thanks.

After such a long wait for help, I don’t believe Hp intends to support us anymore. If they think I will replace my printer with another Hp one they are mistaken. It will be any brand OTHER than HP for printer or any other tech.

No full reset etc. Has resolved the issue. Still cannot install new firmware does HP care, that they have broken the functioning of a printer by changing url of web apps and issued a firmware that doesn’t work.  I’ll answer that as HP doesn’t have any answers .... NO !

I agree. Longevity and inbuilt support from other vendors' software was basically the only reason I recommended HP products to everyone.  Reading around it seems that is disappearing.  Usually it's OS support etc. that starts causing issues, not the product vendor itself.  To break the product themselves, then go to the cost and effort of releasing software to rectify it which doesn't even start is pretty absurd.  It's not clear if it's a policy to cut loose functional web-enabled equipment when they'd like it superseded, or just plain incompetence and lack of attention to detail.  Maybe it's both.

@HP Support - You need to release a manual process to update this firmware, fix your installer, or make previous firmware versions available.  You've released the fix for the issue you've created.  Please make it accessible.

@Betty0610 Please include me in any investigation, I started the thread last year had sent details by private message, followed all instructions and nothing was resolved. I was promised a follow up but nothing happened. I have one additional question “has anyone at HP downloaded the update from the url and successfully installed it on N911g model printer running an earlier version ?
I really fed up as it was broken in October last year and there appears to be no progress apart from many other people reporting the same issue..
