My HP Office jet Pro 7740 is stuck on a Wifi setting that I want to change. My printer as well as the link on my computer says all of those features are locked out by the person who set up the printer. I am the person that set up my printer and I don't think I would have locked myself out. It doesn't ask me for any kind of administrator passwords so I am at a loss how to fix it.
on top of that I got a new computer so I thought that might fix the problem but the wifi setting is in the printer so that didn't work. I deleted the wifi connection from my computer but now my printer is offline and the feature to put it back om wife is one of the ones I am locked out of.
Does anyone know how I can fix this or I just have a pretty expensive paperweight. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi @kats4444,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
