macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Yes, I have connected the 8020 printer to my iMac(ex I can scan documents), BUT I need the HP Smart desktop app to run it since Im signed up for the ink refill program. Not everyone can run do what they need to do via mobile device app(this is a workaround Ive seen people post)!!

Please make the older driver for the Smart app available for iOS 10.13 High Sierra otherwise, HP, you MUST warn users/owners they CANNOT enroll in the ink refill program and will have to buy ink the "old way"!!

I see that you are facing an issue with printing in colour on your Printer.

Request you to follow the below steps to fix the issue.

 

Uninstall the printer software by following the steps from this link and restart the device.

Install the printer software by clicking on the link again.

Or

Install the printer with Mac built-in driver.

You can refer to this document to install the printer.

Your response has nothing to do with  my post
How dare you come on here post what you did treating myself, and more than likely many others with the same issue, like a child needing to be walked through basic install

Next time READ AND COMPREHEND what someone posts before responding.... if I could give a 1000 "No"s on your response I would do it!

What part of making OLD drivers available do you and HP not understand??? NOT EVERYONE has a brand new computer and will go buy a new computer to solve their problem(I say this because I HAVE read posts abt the issue where a new machine was suggested a solution!)
Anyone who is signed up for refill ink program CANNOT run Smart app on their MacIOS 10.13 system
Cant run the app, cant have the iMAC talk to the printer for the ink progam!
