HP Solution Center has been working fine for months, but gives me this popup now when I open it:

I've tried uninstalling all HP software and reinstalling, but I still get this message. Surprisingly, my printer still works wirelessly (it didn't before), but freezes via USB. My printer was not recognized the second time I tried reinstalling and connecting via USB. It's also worth mentioning I'm on a custom-built desktop, not a laptop, and I use this printer at home.

 

While the printer is still printing, I can no longer perform maintenance tasks like aligning cartridges and cleaning print heads. Any ideas? This software looks outdated and has been pretty buggy ever since I started using it on Windows 10. Is there a newer version I'm potentially missing? Any advice would be appreciated.

I was going through your post and understand that you need assistance in fixing the issue regarding the printer software. Is that, right? I will be glad to help you.

 

I recommend you to uninstall the printer software from the PC using the Programs and features in Control Panel.

Then use the link below to download the latest driver for the printer and install it and check if that solves the issue.
