I've had HP Solution Center on my computer for at least 18 months. All of a sudden, it doesn't work because it says the device installation is not complete. I uninstalled and re-installed. Still same message. The printer works--wireless! I know it's connected. Why does the Solutions Center not work? The Solutions Center is on my desk top--but it won't run.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums. Can you try the following:
Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e016-1&h_keyword=dg-PDU
Hope that helps.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Can you try this Uninstaller from Microsoft and then reinstall the FULL feature software again?

Let us know if that works!

This, I'm sure, is a question that I should know the answer. First it's asking if I'm having trouble installing or uninstalling. Since you said to uninstall, I clicked uninstall. I assumed I should uninstall all HP items listed as this printer is the only HP product I have. Howevver, it won't let me select all. What is the name of the item I should uninstall. I don't see the one that, to me, looks like the full driver. These are my choices:
HP Customer Service Experience
HP Support Assist
HP Solutions Framework
HP Update
HP App Studio
HP Product Assistant
HP Diagnostic Alert
HP SSupply

I finally went to the uninstall on Control Panel and uninstalled everything HP. Not being a computer expert, this was somewhat scary, especially since I did not know why all of a sudden I had the problem. Then I reinstalled the full driver. Amazingly, it worked. Thanks for help.

On my Windows 7 ,I have the same problem with HP solution center, tried all the options suggested, but keep getting the same response: "Device Installation is not complete".
It worked for several years just fine with the HP 4680 Photosmart.
I also use a HP 6520 and a HPlaser 3015.
I would welcome any suggestions.
Thanks!
