Printer is only couple months old but now it has froze multiple times with a blue screen with this code: D90774EC
So far, rebooting printer works but what's the root cause?
Any suggestions?

There is no information available on that error code. Kindly perform these steps:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Make sure there are no jams inside the printer.
Follow the steps from this document.

Monitor the printer and let me know how this goes.

Thanks. I've followed the steps you outlined. Guess, only time will tell if the issue is fixed.
Disappointing that "There is no information available on that error code" -- it has to mean something to someone at HP.

I have forwarded the error code to the respective team of engineers at HP who will look into it to find the root cause of the error.
