Good Morning,  If you are asking me whether I did the instructions to plug/unplug/take out cartridges...'Yes, I did'.

 

So last night when I went to bed (11pm), the printer was still on and 'Verifying'.  This morning (5am), the printer was off and when I turned it back on, it recognized that I had changed the cartridges and there were alignment steps to do.  After that, I am able to copy and to print from the computer.  I don't know what happened overnight but I now have a working printer.

 

As far as I know, the firmware executable did not run correctly and I'm not going to try running it again.
