HP8120
Microsoft Windows 11

I purchased HP8120 printer and downloaded HP Smart. Works on my iPad and iPhone but not on my laptop. States driver unavailable. I've tried downloading from HP website but still can't print or add printer. Printer is on HP Smart but not in my printers & scanning settings

You may also try these steps, 
Uninstall HP Smart and Printer Drivers:

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  • Uninstall HP Smart and any HP printer-related software.
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, remove the HP8120 if listed.

Restart Your Computer and Printer:

  • Power off your printer and restart your PC.
  • Turn the printer back on after the PC has rebooted.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • On the printer, go to Wireless > Settings > Restore Network Settings.
  • This will put the printer back into Wi-Fi setup mode.

Reinstall Using HP Smart:

  • Download the latest version of HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.
  • Open HP Smart and add your printer again.
  • It should now prompt you to install the correct driver.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor (Optional but Recommended):

  • Download it here.
  • Run the tool to automatically detect and fix driver and connectivity issues.
