This solution from Bryan won't work form me.
I try install this. At begining this soft find my printer, but at the end of installation I receive message that "it can't find that printer". Then this asked me to register my printer !! I didn't do that.
After I do what I wrote before.

If you have an HP printer, call HP technical support. Ignore the instruction to "go to the website" to get a case file number. Stay on the line. An agent will help you with this Apple/HP issue. In my case, the HP agent instructed me to delete all files (she named them off and helped e locate them) involved in the popup warning. We deleted the printer and reinstalled with different settings. Turned off HP printer. Rebooted Mac & restarted printer. Voila! All HP printer functions (including print, fax, scan) work - no popups.

They never have cared about their customers beyond the point of sale as long as you buy their horrifically expensive ink. They had a major known component failure (Condensors on the PCBs) on what was basically a very good printer the Photosmart C 6180, when it functioned, and refused to supply support or admit any liability. It ended up at the dump even though the repair could be done cheaply at home with a delicate hand on the soldering iron, which I don't have. iMac running Catalina 10.15.7
with a Photosmart 7520.

What do we do about an older printer that is no longer supported by HP? I have a HP LaserJet P3005dn that has no available drivers on the HP USA website. Printer has worked perfectly for years without incident, but the macOS Catalina 10.17.7 update has forced me to use a generic printer driver. I am fine with that for now, but hate to think that a move to Big Sur will force me to buy a new printer that I do not need.
