HP Deskjet 3000 Printer - J310a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Royal Mail has stopped franking machine owners from using the "signed for" and Special Delivery" stickers and Pitney Bowes has produced a list of "supported" printers. Mine is not listed but they have listed Deskjet 1000.

I have tried a test page to print a label with "signed for" but the print is too large and it cuts off on one side. The labels I should use are A4 sheet with 7 labels.

Can anyone help with setting up my printer for this as I don't particularly want to buy a new printer.

Many thanks

Hi @Badgeman27,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand you are trying to print on A4 paper.

Thank you for your reply.
I will be happy to help you with this.

I believe you have to reset the country definition to a place from the application you print from where they have A4 paper.

Or try the steps below

1) Open up aq Word Doc + go to...  FILE > Options > Advance > Print

2)  UN-tick the following item:   "Scale content for A4 or 8,5 x 11" paper sizes" + OK

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Many thanks for your response. I found out that I did need one of Pitney Bowes supported printers so I have bought a Brother thermal printer and have no issues now.

Many thanks for your help
