Hi. After upgrading to Big Sur 11.5, I am unable to print from HP Laserjet P1102.After downloading driver from HP’s site, it’s not getting installed. The message says this volume does not meet the requirements for this update. Where can I download its compatible driver?

Hi ShlomiL! Thank you so much for the suggestion in the Resolution section. I have a HP P1102W and am using Big Sur 11.5.1. However, my printer is not showing up when I go to add it even after I have completed all of the steps in the Resolution section. I am so grateful for any help you could provide. I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy a new printer.

Hi,
This is likely due to any connectivity issue with the printer and not related to any software installation.
How is the printer connected to your Mac @ohjenny? is it with a USB connection or a wireless connection?

Thanks for clarifying,
Is the printer ready with a solid power light or can you see any blinking light? be sure to press any key first if the printer may during sleep mode. whenever it's ready you should see a solid power light with no other blinking lights or errors..
Do you connect the printer directly to the Mac or use any adapter? I suggest first unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable at both ends and check if you may see any difference then, if not I suggest trying another USB cable and also make sure it is not longer than 1.8-2 meters long and directly connected, not through any USB hubs, extensions cable, and also directly connected to a USB port of your Mac, assuming your Mac have any such...
If it being used with any adapter, I would also suggest testing another adapter as this is a possible cause for problems too.
