You can absolutely print double-sided (duplex) from your Android phone using your HP OfficeJet 8015e. Here's how to do it:

Install the HP Smart App

If you haven’t already, download and install the HP Smart app from the Google Play Store: Official HP® Support

Connect Your Printer

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Tap Add Printer and follow the prompts to connect your HP OfficeJet 8015e to your Wi-Fi network.

Select the Document or Photo

  • Tap Print Documents or Print Photos.
  • Choose the file you want to print from your phone or cloud storage.

Enable Two-Sided Printing

  • After selecting the document, tap the Print Settings (gear icon or settings option).
  • Look for Two-Sided Printing or Duplex Printing.
  • Set it to Long Edge (for portrait) or Short Edge (for landscape), depending on your preference.

Print

  • Tap Print and your printer will automatically print on both sides of the sheet.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up to date. You can update it via the HP Smart app under Advanced Settings.
  • If the duplex option doesn’t appear, ensure your printer is connected via Wi-Fi and not USB or Bluetooth, as some features may be limited.
