HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer

Printed the photo and want to delete it from the app. Seems to be no way to do that.

I'm pretty sure I do not know what you mean.

The HP Smart application does not "save" photos / images inside the application.

The app is not able keep internal copies of your printed data - it processes print and scan jobs and exits.

The mobile version of the app might temporarily keep print history.

You can, of course, delete a saved photo from your device (computer, tablet, phone).

When I go to print photos on HP Smart it still shows the photo I already printed. Does it just stay even though I don't need it anymore?

Sure - might.

HP Smart - Mobile and Print Anywhere support a form of Print Job History.

Job History is not the same thing as having a copy of the photo stored in the app.

Print History can be ignored if not useful or interesting.
