You have to manually align the ink cartridges and make sure the alignment is successful.

 

It sounds like the alignment didn't finish when you setup the printer initially. The alignment sheet needs to be scanned or the process repeats itself. This is normal and it will continue to realign itself until it is completed successfully.

 

Align the ink cartridges in Windows.

  1. Open or search for the HP folder in your list of installed software programs, click the folder for your printer, and then click the name of your printer.

    The HP Printer Assistant software opens.

  2. Click Print & Scan, and then click Maintain Your Printer.

  3. Click the Device Services tab, and then click Align Cartridges.

    The printer prints an alignment page.

  4. Lift the scanner lid.

  5. Place the alignment page with the print side down on the scanner glass, and then position it according to the engraved guides around the glass.

  6. On your computer, click Scan. The printer aligns the ink cartridges.

 

Try few steps recommended below.

 

Make sure the Print Spooler service is running
Check the list of services in Windows to make sure the Print Spooler is started.

Search Windows for view local services, then click the View local services Control panel setting in the list of results. The Services window opens.
Locate Print Spooler in the list.
If the Status is blank, right-click Print Spooler, then click Start.
If the status is Running, right-click Print Spooler, then click Restart.
Try to print. 

 

Also, Try the steps recommended below.

 

Delete job files and restart

Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.
Save your work. After using these steps, your current print jobs are lost and will need to be printed again.
Open Windows Services using one of the following methods:
Search Windows for services, and click Services in the list of results.
On your keyboard, press Windows key (  ) + R, type services.msc in the window that opens, and then click OK.
Scroll through the list of services and find the name Print Spooler.
Right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.
After the service has been stopped, close the service window and use Windows Explorer to browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS.
Delete all files inside the PRINTERS folder.
Shut down your computer from Windows.
Make sure you printer has been unplugged for at least 60 seconds, and then plug the power cord into a power outlet.
Turn on the printer using the power button on the printer.
Turn on the computer and wait for Windows to open.
Try printing again and note what happens.
