I'e upgraded my MacBook Pro to Monterey and my HP LaserJet P1102w has stopped working. HP do not seem to support this OS. Can anyone help?

Having accidentally erased my printer driver, I tried the version you suggest a few days ago, before you so kindly replied. An error message appeared saying that the driver was not compatible with my version of Monterey (12.2.1). However, a day or two later, the driver mysteriously reappeared on my MacBook and it works! This delay may have been because I had neglected until then to restart the computer, but I am not sure. I can say at least that my attempt to load the driver was harmless so other users could at least try it.
A broader point is that I lost my original driver because a YouTube video had encouraged me to 'reset printer system'. I didn't realise that doing that would erase all my printer drivers – so watch out, everyone!
