How do i scan a document and then save it to Word on my Mac?
How can I scan a document and then save it to my Mac on Word? The only two save options i see are Cloud and Email.

To scan a document on your HP Envy 6555e and save it directly as a Word document on your Mac, you need to follow these steps. These instructions use HP Scan software, which should allow you to save your scanned document as a format that can be edited in Microsoft Word.
Install HP Easy Scan on Your Mac
Download and install HP Easy Start: Go to HP Software and Driver Downloads and download the HP Easy Start utility. Install the HP Easy Scan software that comes with it.
Install the full feature software and driver: Ensure you install the full feature software and driver that includes HP Easy Scan for macOS.
Scan the Document Using HP Easy Scan
Open HP Easy Scan: From your Applications list, open HP Easy Scan.
Load the Document: Lift the scanner lid and place the document face down on the scanner glass according to the guide on the edge of the glass.
Set up the Scan:
- Click the Scanner menu, and then select your HP Envy 6555e printer.
- Click Presets and then Edit Settings.
Select Document Type:
- In the Presets settings, select Document in the Type menu.
- Select Document Feeder or Flatbed in the Source menu, depending on where you placed your document.
Scan the Document:
- Click Scan to start scanning.
