I have spent a number of hours removing, reinstalling and uninstalling the print software for a HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One Series. I have exhausted all avenues in wondering why my printer will not print. My printer is set up wirelessly (which is what I prefer). However, after numerous attempts to get the printer to print (which it did previously before Windows 10 update, now, I can only scan and fax. The problem I am having, in Settings>Devices>Printers & Scanners, the printer states, "no device drivers." The drivers was removed. The printer is now a WSD.
I did notice through the Device Manager, where my printer could be. I noticed, my printer is added as a WSD. As indicated previously, I was able to print before the Windows update.
I would like to know the steps in which to place the HP DeskJet Plus printer under the Printer area within the Device Manager? Can I remove the WSD and place the printer in a different printer port so I can download the print drivers? How can I manually add the drivers so I can be able to print again?

Thank you. I see where I went wrong. I didn't click on the software -- utility>software (firmware). I thought the software app provided the drivers. Let me retry, again and I'll let you know if all is well. (I would hate to give this printer a thumbs down; forcing me to buy a different printer.)

The information presented to me in relation to my issue, did not work. HP needs to get with the program and work with Microsoft when it comes to printer drivers that are compatible to the Windows 10. Not every one is using old out dated Windows computers.
This HP DeskJet Pro 4100 all-in-one series is not compatible. The resources provided concerning troubleshooting does not work. I am very disappointed.
