HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Deskjet inc Advantage 3835 which I have moved from India to Sweden due to work.  I can't use the same cartdrigde due to local settings. In Europe I shall use the local cartridge HP 652 (instead of the earlier used  HP 680).

however, the printer faiils  to  install these cartridigdes.   How can I change the printer region setting sto Europe to be able to use the cartridge HP 652.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges from the old region/country.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

I have got two different answers from you. One private  telling me to have the new local cartridge inserted and not the old one. Then sending ypu a screenshot to öet me have the reset key codes.

now, you are telling me to have the

old cartridge inseeted instead?
