How to follow up support cases created with HP? This does not apply to a specific case or product, but in general, how can we check how is our support case being handled, estimated resolution, if it needs more information, etc.

Hi @Dragon-Fur,

Thank you for your quick reply. However, that's not quite what I expected. I have already used one of those links to submit a case. But I all got back was a confirmation that a case was created and its number. But that was more than a week ago and since then I got no updates. So I am expecting some page I can enter the case number and see its current status.

Thanks

@Dragon-Fur,

I can't see in any of my messages that I expected someone to contact HP on my behalf, but I apologize if I sounded like I did.

All I'm doing is asking the community if someone has ever managed to find a way to track open cases, since HP does not pro-actively provide updates. Since the case is open via a web form, a similar web form/page to track them would make the most sense.

Thanks

Right.

Unfortunate wording -- I will edit my message.

From your description, perhaps the status is not being kept updated online.

What we have:

 HP Repair – Check Service Order Status

Requires Service Order number / Serial number

If that does not work --

If someone has found a way to track open cases without talking to HP about that case, I am unaware of that process.
